Ah ha! Y'all thought I didn't make it through the Bay to Breakers?! Amazingly I did. I did better (Bib #7863) than I thought. 109 equates to approxmiately 9 min/mile, giving me 10 1/2 for the 1 mile up hill. I told myself to do it in 1 hr and 20 minutes. Woo!

At the end of the race I felt like I could continue running, 3 miles perhaps. HA! I doubt I could have, but hey, I felt it :).

And surprisingly I don't look (Bib #7863) THAT tired.

I know, I'm dumb, but I am actually considering runnig a 1/2 marathon sometime. HA!

My youngest brother, Nathan (Peanut) was out for a couple weeks. My oldest brother, Anson (oldest bro- no nickname :P)and his wife, Sarah (Mouse) is out for another week. Our entire family (immediate) went to Yosemite last week. It was beautiful! I will be very slowly adding pictures to my new photo blog

I can't believe I had never been to Yosemite before this past week. Yosemite is gorgeous. Due to the late rain/snow and recent warm weather, the waterfalls were gushing and the rivers were high and roaring. I'd like to go there again, backpacking, camping, exploring!

The drive to Yosemite was VERY fun. That is once on Highway 140. Although the drive back wasn't as fun. I'm trying to make Peanut pay half since he was in the car with me. Starving student, Mama's boy, 1500 miles away... yea, no way :P.

So far at the end of the last 2 Critical Thinking classes, my head has hurt. I really hope I can retain all the information that is being squished into this cranium.

Soccer is good... we are in first place, with 3 points higher than the second place team. I'm trying to make myself get atleast one goal per game.

Work is insane. I feel like I am not getting anything done; more and more tasks are getting thrown at me hourly. It is crazy. It feels like I should be working 20 hr days to keep up. Why is it so crazy? Move is STILL going on, lab is COMPLETELY PACKED AND MESSY AND UNORGANIZED AND CHAOTIC AND PACKED AND PACKED, ISO audit is coming up, important projects need to get done, 2 employees left our team, our engineer base(customers) has GROWN. I am trailing behind... far behind. ARGH! This sucks!

I'm still in my r-e-l-a-t-i-o-n-s-h-i-p. VERY surprised? I am.. I think this is like 11 mths or something. Wow.. that is almost double my norm. AND, more importantly I still REALLY like the guy. I really do think he saw a bruja

other news?

Roommate moved out. I am ALONE again :). I quickly re-organized the room. I will now have a bed for company, room for weight lifting and excercising. AND a garage to myself :).

Read a lil, then bed...

OK, 5 days since last.. I'm doing better :P.

I just got finished making chicken enchiladas in green sauce. They were mmm good. Too bad I snacked on chips n salsa and crackers in dip before I ate. I have a bunch left, oh well, tomorrows lunch!

So, Bay to Breaker is this Sunday! 7.5 miles! 1 mile on a 11 % incline. I heard some disappointing news today. I was told that the first 2 miles are so are so crowded that you can't even run. Um.. really? Like I'm going to be running n rubbing up against some sweaty naked homo? Up against some weirdo dressed in a tarzan costume? In the middle of centipede Great, now I'm kind of looking down on this run. I've been taking this run seriously; running 6-7 miles, running up hill (killing my shins and calves, really training. Now I find out that people run naked, bare footed, costumed, carrying kaiges... Argh, I hope there is enough room for me to run and not get irritated.

Work is still crazy. Busy as all hell. I have SOOO much to do and NOOO time to do it. It is insane, but I must keep on digging.

Bed

I didn't realize it had been over a month since my last blog. Hm, that'd mean I was busy? Well I must atleast write as such.

Work's been crazy. I work with a bunch of whiners who only seem to know how to put a lot of effort into complaining. Wow, if they put as much effort in WORKING as they do in complaining we'd actually get a lot of stuff done.

I promise the next meeting I have with these negative complainers I will stomp on their whiney complaints. Shut them up like right away! It is a waste of MY time listening to these lazy asses complain about EVERY change, EVERY dash of additional work, EVERY new request. I am about to call each of them into the ring for some 'mind blowing' fun.

With each meeting, comes less time spent on listening to the whiners whine, but I still allow too much negative babbling. I've strengthened up some, but not enough. I think Imma handle things a little differently. I'm to passive in a business environment. I think you have to have a really strong spine and sadly I apparently don't have one in the corporate world. Well, tell ya' next meeting...

Played 2 soccers game this season. We won our first game 6-2. I made 2 goals. Our last game we won 8-1. I didn't make any goals :(. However, I missed about 20 by a hair.

So, after the first game I told Mario that I always do this, play well in the beginning of the season then miss all future goals; all of which are really close. SO?! What does Larissa do in game 2? Miss TONS of goals. Now what does Larissa do? Tell something else... like I'm going to make atleast one goal a game!

School is good, but teams suck. OHWhoa! What'd'ya know, another TEAM and it SUCKS? Man, I think I really need to learn how to work with teams. "Larissa overcomes sucky teams"...Sound like a dream?! Yea, I htought so. *wakes up*.

I'm going to have my last class for this course. No more researching. I semi-liked the class. If my topic was interesting I enjoyed the research and writing.

Next class is Critical Thinking. I'm looking forward to it.

I've been running and running, training for this dang Bay to Breaker. Today I ran the farthest I have ever run- 7 miles. Bay to Breaker is 7.5 with a 11% incline for 1 mile. So? HA.. will see how I do. i'm just trying to run it, not walk any. I won't be racing anyone, well maybe the walkers. If you want to find me while I'm running, look in between the runners and the walkers :).

Lifting has been going good. Although Mario may think 'too good', calling me ARNOLD. Punk, I think he's hating on me cause there isn't much of a size difference between us :P. His friends may start saying, um, dude, how come your chick has as much muscle as you? lol.

My roommate will be moving out on the 21st. I've been contemplating asking her to leave; I, um, want my garage to myself :). My roommate has been a good roomate; not messy, not always here, not loud. BUT, I have a tandem garage so we have to be sure to know who will be leaving first, so they park in the back. I can't pull my bike out with 2 cars... and um summer is coming up. She said she is spending too much money so is moving back home...cool, I didn't need to ask :).

Well, something has finally hit close to home; my dad had 2 astents put in. He had some chest pain, decided to get it checked out. 3 clogged arteries were found. One artery was too small to hold a stent, but the other 2 had stents put in. He is doing good, but he is really scared. The doctor said he has thin arteries (hereditary) and his arteries look like a 67 yr-olds (my pa is 57 yrs old). We are praying and hope everything is done and will be fine.

bed..
