I didn't realize it had been over a month since my last blog. Hm, that'd mean I was busy? Well I must atleast write as such.
Work's been crazy. I work with a bunch of whiners who only seem to know how to put a lot of effort into complaining. Wow, if they put as much effort in WORKING as they do in complaining we'd actually get a lot of stuff done.
I promise the next meeting I have with these negative complainers I will stomp on their whiney complaints. Shut them up like right away! It is a waste of MY time listening to these lazy asses complain about EVERY change, EVERY dash of additional work, EVERY new request. I am about to call each of them into the ring for some 'mind blowing' fun.
With each meeting, comes less time spent on listening to the whiners whine, but I still allow too much negative babbling. I've strengthened up some, but not enough. I think Imma handle things a little differently. I'm to passive in a business environment. I think you have to have a really strong spine and sadly I apparently don't have one in the corporate world. Well, tell ya' next meeting...
Played 2 soccers game this season. We won our first game 6-2. I made 2 goals. Our last game we won 8-1. I didn't make any goals :(. However, I missed about 20 by a hair.
So, after the first game I told Mario that I always do this, play well in the beginning of the season then miss all future goals; all of which are really close. SO?! What does Larissa do in game 2? Miss TONS of goals. Now what does Larissa do? Tell something else... like I'm going to make atleast one goal a game!
School is good, but teams suck. OHWhoa! What'd'ya know, another TEAM and it SUCKS? Man, I think I really need to learn how to work with teams. "Larissa overcomes sucky teams"...Sound like a dream?! Yea, I htought so. *wakes up*.
I'm going to have my last class for this course. No more researching. I semi-liked the class. If my topic was interesting I enjoyed the research and writing.
Next class is Critical Thinking. I'm looking forward to it.
I've been running and running, training for this dang
Bay to Breaker. Today I ran the farthest I have ever run- 7 miles. Bay to Breaker is 7.5 with a 11% incline for 1 mile. So? HA.. will see how I do. i'm just trying to run it, not walk any. I won't be racing anyone, well maybe the walkers. If you want to find me while I'm running, look in between the runners and the walkers :).
Lifting has been going good. Although Mario may think 'too good', calling me ARNOLD. Punk, I think he's hating on me cause there isn't much of a size difference between us :P. His friends may start saying, um, dude, how come your chick has as much muscle as you? lol.
My roommate will be moving out on the 21st. I've been contemplating asking her to leave; I, um, want my garage to myself :). My roommate has been a good roomate; not messy, not always here, not loud. BUT, I have a tandem garage so we have to be sure to know who will be leaving first, so they park in the back. I can't pull my bike out with 2 cars... and um summer is coming up. She said she is spending too much money so is moving back home...cool, I didn't need to ask :).
Well, something has finally hit close to home; my dad had 2 a
stents put in. He had some chest pain, decided to get it checked out. 3
clogged arteries were found. One artery was too small to hold a stent, but the other 2 had stents put in. He is doing good, but he is really scared. The doctor said he has thin arteries (hereditary) and his arteries look like a 67 yr-olds (my pa is 57 yrs old). We are praying and hope everything is done and will be fine.
bed..
